Where We Install Porcelain
Suburban Marble and Granite fabricates and installs porcelain across a full range of interior and exterior applications. Large-format slabs reduce visible seams on wide surfaces, creating a cleaner, more continuous look for countertops, walls, and flooring. How We Fabricate & Install Porcelain
Porcelain requires specialized cutting equipment and trained fabricators. The material is thinner than granite or marble and behaves differently under cutting tools, so precision matters at every stage.
Digital Templating & Precision Cutting
Every project starts with a digital template, which allows us to cut with laser precision. In many cases, we can complete templating before cabinetry is even installed.
Our fabrication equipment includes two Breton saws, a water-jet machine, and three Breton CNC machines, finished by hand polishers. Breton is Italian-made equipment recognized globally as a leader in stone-working technology, and all edging is produced with diamond tooling for a long-lasting, high-polish edge.
Seam Planning & Installation Standards
Seam planning is especially important with large-format porcelain, where the scale of the slabs makes placement decisions highly visible. We gauge every countertop for proper seam match and a smooth underside finish, use the minimum number of seams necessary on each project, and produce what we believe are the tightest, most level seams in the Philadelphia market.

We produce digital templates for every project, which allows us to cut with laser precision. In many cases, templating can be completed before cabinetry is installed, keeping your project on schedule. Our 57,000-square-foot facility houses two Breton saws, a water-jet machine, and three Breton CNC machines, all finished by hand polishers. Breton machines are Italian-made and recognized globally as leaders in stone-working equipment. All edging is produced with diamond tooling to deliver a long-lasting, high-polish edge.
Seam Quality & Precision Fabrication
Seam quality is where fabrication skill becomes visible in the finished countertop. Every countertop we produce is gauged for proper seam match and a smooth underside finish, and we use the minimum number of seams necessary on each project.
